Wow Guides – Zygor vs Dugi

Having the last for World of Warcraft (5.3 that is) looming above us there is just a matter of time till the everyone goes crazy again with that “new content” frenzy that is so specific to the them. In other words everyone will want to finish first the legendary quest chain that Mists of Pandaria started and off course that all the hardcore PvP’ers will get a shot at the coveted title of “Gladiator” once again (mount’n'all).

Problem is that among those badass top players there will be some new comers as well and most of them (not all obviously) will have a pretty neat backup in the full updated version of one of them guides. If you are somehow new to World of Warcraft, you should know that two of the top guides (that are accepted by Blizzard and are seen as legal addons to the game) belong to Zygor and Dugi. These guys have been playing Wow since the very beginning and know much more stuff than I know about the game (and trust me I know a lot as well). Now take all that knowledge and put in a in-game addon and you have yourself an uber enhanced gameplay. Although there are plenty of similarities tween the two there are also some major differences that could make a difference if used properly.

Now I used all the features from both guides for a pretty long time and so I can tell you the difference between the two and the strategies they come up with. Thus if you are leveling, your best bet is Dugi’s Leveling Guide. However if you seek to finish most of the achievements, do dailies or become a pro raider, then Zygor Guides have just what you need. If you seek knowledge on how to earn more gold coins for on your character then again Dugi has a better guide (still in terms of gold I do recommend some specialized addon such as Tycoon by manaview, but that’s another topic). And the last observation regarding these two guides we discuss here is the fact that Zygor updates his guides much faster than Dugi. Both have free lifetime updates included just that the first one updates almost at the same time as Blizzard brings out the new patches, while the second might give you several days until you can use the guides on the new version at its full potential.

So there you have it fellas, a short few words on the top two guides for World of Warcraft and the strategies you should use from each of them so that your game may kick some serious ass. Do keep in mind that both services (three if we count manaview as well) offer almost a full palette of guides so you can have them all from one single provider (so to say), but each of them have their own ups and downs so do take into consideration what I’ve said about their strengths and weaknesses. So then make sure you are ready for the Darkspear Rebellion and the Siege of Orgrimmar as soon as Patch 5.3 goes live, by having them top guides in your inventory!
